October is National Bullying Awareness Month, a timely reminder for organizations to take action at the local level to foster safe and supportive environments.

Last week, leadership from several CESAs met with staff from Representative Scott Fitzgerald's office to discuss important issues facing schools across the Badger State. CESA 8 Agency Administrator Dave Honish and others are advocating for stronger support to help our schools thrive and continue providing excellent education to all students. Together, we’re working toward a brighter future for Wisconsin’s students.
CESA 8 recently hosted 25 new special education teachers from our region for the first of six training sessions the group will go through. We know these educators will make an impact in our districts.

Tammy Moynihan shared some great news with superintendents at the last PAC meeting about a DPI grant to support and enhance computer science programming in the CESA 8 region. We can't wait to start this valuable work.
