Instructions for reviewing a PDP using the Online PDP process
Accepting or Declining to Review a PDP Reviewers (you) will receive an e-mail that goes directly to your e-mail address when you have been “convened” by a user. (All emails from the system will start with "WI PDP" in the subject line.) Once you receive an e-mail asking you to review a PDP (the Email subject line will read WI PDP: Accept or Decline Request) you will have a 5-day opportunity to click on a link in the e-mail to either “accept” or “decline.” The user will be notified by an automatic e-mail that you (the reviewer) have “accepted” or “declined.” If you “accept” (to review) a PDP a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the user who will then make their plan accessible once all three review team members have been confirmed. You will receive another e-mail when the PDP is accessible for your review (email subject line will read WI PDP: Perform Review). If you choose to “decline” or don’t respond within the time frame (5 days), the licensee will have to select someone else.
Reviewers will have their own log list that will keep track of their Job History. Reviewers will be able to see which jobs have been performed or waiting to be performed (to Approve Goals or Verify Completion), what the status of each job is (Open or Completed, or Paid) and job start and end dates.
The time/date stamp on each of the components of the PDP verifies the official PDP of the licensee. Changes are made to the PDP by the licensee through the Annual Review process, but the PDP that is “approved” by reviewers is captured and archived for formal documentation. The PDP is the property of the author. (As reviewers use this time and date stamp to monitor revisions during the review process.)
Accessing the PDP and the Checklist Reviewers access each PDP component and the corresponding Review Checklist Criteria to either view online or print. The “HELP” feature provides guidance and support to rate the Reviewer Criteria and give suggestions for comments when giving feedback for any “no” ratings according to DPI Training.
