NOTE: DPI recommends that PDPs are written in Year 1 for Professional Educators and in time for Initial Educators to submit to PDP Review Team for Goal Approval by October 1, in Year 2.
A User’s own, personal REGISTRATION date is the trigger date for the PDP process/licensure timeline. The deadline for Users, without needing intervention from the Web Master is: Ø March 22, Year 2 - Initial Educators Ø May 18, Year 2 - Professional Educators
Prior to those dates, Users will see a choice in REGISTRATION for “Current Plan Year” and select either Year 1 or Year 2. This is only visible at the time of the first, initial REGISTRATION and only if the actual calendar date of REGISTRATION is before the dates above.
If the actual calendar date of REGISTRATION is past March 22 for IEs and past May 18 for PEs, the system automatically triggers the PDP process/licensure timeline as starting in Year 1 – no option is given to the User.
